Feeling empty or hopeless
We must identify what sort of emptiness it is. Do you fell empty or hopeless. There are so many difference between them. Feeling empty is like you don't have interest in anything But feeling hopeless is completely different from that. We get the feel of hopeless when we feel like nothing goes the way we want. So we got frustrated with the reality and it create a lack between the dream and reality. That lack became hopeless. That why we must know the deference.
Reason
If we know it is the emptiness, then we have to identify what is the reason behind the emptiness.
There can be many reason for it. It can be anything. Being in the situation you hate, stress, not able to do what you want, the reasons are so many.
Take it as a chance
Sometimes being empty is not a bad thing. You need a space in your life take this time as a chance to transform or relax yourself. don't push yourself to be motivated always. you need sometimes to relax and enjoy your life and notice everything that are around give yourself. some time and enjoy your life always remember that not everything will go the way you want.
Try to be positive

Another think you must do when you feel empty is to take care of yourself. understand that you need a time and for those feelings also being in the state or in the emptiness is not your fault first understand that the situation was different and everyday you feel empty one day not another days so self importance and self love. it is it is OK to be in empty state for giving yourself more time don't push yourself To stay focused all the time. you will have the days which is good and the days are just not good and the days which is empty. it is life not a machine and you are human being not a robot. human will filled with emotions or will be empty, so on the time give yourself more love you need.

what you can do on that time is relive your memories you hear it right relive your memories. it won't help get rid of Emptiness completely but it will give you more reasons to thank your life. it will make you to forgot your emptiness and create a good feeling about you and your life. so try it

the last and final thing that you can do when nothing of the above works is have a good sleep. go to a bed and sleep. one thing you must know is don't take any big decisions in this kind of situations situation you don't like you feel like life is bad and most chance to take wrong decision.
